Uploading the Water Bills
In ExactEstate you are able to upload property water bill information via CSV for itemization into Unit Rental Fees. Water bills entered must either be entered before rent is generated, or an Admin must manually generate the charges from Admin Settings. Without this, the water bills will not be posted to a Resident Ledger.
To begin, first navigate to the "Water Bills" Application by clicking on the "Water Bills" link found under units.
Next, click "Upload Water Bills" button found at the top of the page.
You will now be at the water bills CSV upload form. To begin, first click on the "Download Template for Entry" button to download a blank template that you will use to input data into the system. You can see additional validation rules by clicking on the "?" icon next to the title of the page.
When you have entered data into the spreadsheet, and confirmed you are following the correct validation rules by clicking on the "?" icon next to the title of the page, you can upload the CSV using the form on the page. Make sure to select the month and year that the data is for before pressing submit.
When you have uploaded your CSV into the form, press "Submit" to enter the data into the system.
