Make Ready Option Validation for System Setup

Follow the validation rules below when entering data into the System Setup File. Configuring Make Ready options properly ensures accurate tracking of Unit readiness for move-ins.

Overview

Make Ready Options are events tracked during the process of preparing a Unit for move-in. These options are prioritized using a Priority field to determine their order on the Make Ready Board. Each option corresponds to a specific task or detail that's part of the overall preparation.

Validation Rules

Option Name: Specify a distinct name for each Make Ready Option. Duplicate names are not allowed. By default, the following options are already included in the Make Ready Options list: Building, Unit, Days Vacant, Floorplan, Bed Baths, Designation, Preleased Move-in Date, Primary Applicant, and Is Ready.

Priority: This field determines the sequence in which Make Ready Options appear on the Make Ready Board. Options with lower priority numbers appear first, while higher numbers are listed later.

Helpful Notes

  • Ensure each Option Name is unique to avoid conflicts or duplication errors during setup.
  • Set appropriate priorities to reflect the natural workflow for preparing units for move-in.
  • Customize Option Names to align with your team's existing processes and terminology.
