Validation Rules for Children

• First Name: This field is required. Ensure it is entered accurately.
• Middle Name: Leave blank if this data is not available or not needed.
• Last Name: This field is required. Ensure it is entered accurately.
• Gender: Enter one of the following options: "male", "female", or "other".
• DOB (Date of Birth): Provide the date in the format MM/DD/YYYY or M/D/YYYY.
• SSN and Alien Registration: At least one of these fields is required. If one field is filled, the other must remain blank.
• Race: Select from the following options: "American Indian or Alaska Native", "Asian Indian", "Chinese", "White", "Other", and others. See the full list below for complete options.
• Unit: Specify the unit number. Ensure the unit is already created in the system or present in the System Setup Workbook.
• Building: Provide the name of the building where the unit is located. Ensure that the building name already exists in the system or is listed in the System Setup Workbook.
• Ethnicity: Choose one of the following: "Hispanic or Latino", "Member Did Not Specify", or "Not Hispanic or Latino".
• Is Student: Specify "Yes" or "No".

Helpful Tips

• Ensure all required fields are accurately filled (e.g., First Name, Last Name, Gender).
• Only one of SSN or Alien Registration should be filled; never both.
• Double-check formatting for Date of Birth and ensure the gender value matches one of the allowed options.
• Select valid options for fields containing dropdown lists (e.g., Race and Ethnicity).
