Creating Tenant Screening Account

Tenant Screening accounts allow you to process background and criminal checks through the Application process in ExactEstate. It is seamless and easy to work with, but first you must have an account through TenantAlert, our screening partner that we use with ExactEstate. You will have to set up an account with them before you can use their services in our system.

First, go to System Setup from the main Admin Navigation.

Click the "Merchant Account" link from the card on the page to navigate to the correct page.

CSV Uploads

The only way to create Tenant Screening Accounts is to manually create them in the system. To create one, click "Create New" in the header navigation.

Once you click the button a pop-up modal is shown where you are able to enter in the registered account information that was provided to you by our partner TenantAlert.

If you fill out your data correctly and click "Submit" your Tenant Screening Account will be added to the system.

Note that your Tenant Screening Account can be used for any Property during the Application Processing stage.

Edit Tenant Screening Account or Delete Tenant Screening Options

With Merchant Accounts uploaded you can open the Options Cog as shown below and when the options modal opens you can choose to Edit or Delete your Tenant Screening Account.
