Universal Settings
First go to Admin Settings from the navigation.
Edit Late Fee Declarations
The Universal Settings page allows you to edit Late Fee Declarations, which are the settings that enable ExactEstate to automatically charge Late Fees to residents with delinquent balances.
Late Fee Declarations are also spoken about in System Setup's Late Fee section.
You need to click the button as shown below to navigate to the edit page for Late Fees.
When on the Late Fee Page, you can click the Edit buttons as shown here to edit the fees as you see fit. Once you submit the form, the information will be stored in the system.
Please note that Initial Fees are processed the first day Late Fees are charged for the whole Property based on its Rent Due Day, not the first date the account is being charged.
Edit Terms of Service
The Terms of Services listed in the Admin Settings are the terms that are accepted by Residents when they make payments in the system. It enables you to inform residents how disputes or various actions involving payments will be handled.
Now on this page you can enter in the text you wish Residents to accept when they make payments. When you submit the form the information will be stored in the system.
