Transaction Codes
Transaction Codes in ExactEstate are how all payments and charges merge together to create Application and Resident Ledgers. We have a set of transaction codes in our system that are assigned to each payment and each charge, matching up these codes is what satisfies a delinquent balance.
First go to Admin Settings from the navigation.
Preview Transaction Codes
We have a quick preview of transaction codes, if you wish to see them click the button as shown below.
Next a pop-up will appear where you can quickly see all the Transaction Codes in the system.
Edit Transaction Codes
To edit the Human Readable name of any transaction code, simply click the edit option as shown below.
And now on this page you can see all Transaction Codes and edit them as you wish using the options shown below. Please click the edit link to navigate to the correct page.
On the edit page you will enter your changed and submit the form, once that is done your data will be updated in the system.
Create Transaction Codes
Occasionally you may need to use custom Transaction Codes not predefined by our system. We allow you to make your own Transaction Codes that can be used for charges or payments in ExactEstate as well.
On this page you can create whatever custom Transaction Code you wish. Please submit the form to store the data in the system.
